"It is said that a dispassionate young man approached the Greek philosopher Socrates and causally stated ' O great Socrates, I come to you for knowledge.'
The philosopher took the young man down to the sea, waded in with him, and dunked him under the water for thirty seconds. When he let the young man up for air, Socrates asked him to repeat what he wanted.
'Knowledge, O great one,' he sputtered. Socrates put him under the water again, only that this time a little longer. After repeated dunkings and responses, the philosopher asked, ' What do you want?' The young man finally gasped, 'Air I want air!'
Good, answered Socrates. 'Now, when you want knowledge as much as you wanted air, you shall have it' "
Passage from "The 21 Indispensable Qualities of a Leader" by John C. Maxwell

This passage really stuck out in me recently when I read it, I believe because of the situation and period of my life currently. If you have that passion then you should be able to achieve everything and more. It also made me think of positioning yourself to explore and exercise your passion to the extreme. In many games and life you need to strategize your next move to be able to achieve the final goal. Many could also say acting on instinct or blindly may put you in the same position. Combine all three and you may be able to increase your challenges exponentially. Look forward to my next move in life….
